Hope begins with an honest conversation
Individual and couples counseling in Livermore and online throughout California.
Accepting new clients
Hi, I’m Dane.
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes life has become painful or overwhelming. Sometimes a relationship is struggling. And sometimes you simply sense that something needs to change, even if you’re not sure what that something is.
You don’t have to keep pretending you’re okay. Whether you are navigating a painful season or simply know something needs to change, we’ll create a space to be honest about what’s happening and move toward the life and relationships you want.
How I can help
Individuals
Whatever brings you to therapy, you will find a place where you can be honest about what's happening and understood without judgment.
Together we'll explore your story and the patterns shaping your life and relationships, while working together toward your desired goals.
Couples & Families
Relationships are where we experience both our deepest joy and our deepest pain.
Couples and family therapy helps you move beyond recurring arguments and misunderstandings toward deeper connection, healthier communication, and renewed trust.
My approach
I believe meaningful change happens in relationships where we feel safe enough to be honest. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate presence while helping you better understand yourself and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Together we'll explore what's happening beneath the surface, and work toward clarity and the change you want. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring the process to your unique story and goals.
How we’ll begin
1
Reach out
Send a short message. No forms to fill out, no pressure to explain everything up front.
2
Free consultation
A brief call to talk through what's going on and see if we're a good fit.
3
First session
In person or remote, at a set time. We start where you're at, at your pace.
4
Ongoing sessions
Regular sessions, adjusted over time as things shift and progress.
Let’s talk.
Reaching out is often the hardest part. It doesn't have to be a big commitment — a first conversation is just that: a conversation, to see if we're a good fit.

I'm currently a Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee, working toward licensure while under the supervision of a licensed clinician. I'm completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and bring both clinical training and real-world experience to our work together. My supervision and ongoing consultation are part of how I ensure you're getting thoughtful, responsible care.

I work with individuals and couples navigating things like anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, grief, betrayal, parenting challenges, and spiritual questions or church hurt. If you're feeling stuck somewhere you can't quite name, that's exactly the kind of thing we can work on together.

I see clients in person in Livermore, CA, and also offer online sessions for those who prefer the flexibility of meeting from home.
-
Yes. While I love meeting in person, especially for the first session, I also offer online sessions for clients who need more flexibility or aren't local to Livermore.
-
Our first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, and we'll talk through how therapy works, what to expect, and your goals. It's also a chance for you to see if it feels like the right fit.
